Aircraft position
In case that you are unsure about your position or further taxi instructions at a controlled airport you will ask for assistance transmitting the following message:
Requesting detailed taxi instructions.
Cannot find my way.
I am lost.
Requesting progressive taxi instructions.
The basic aircraft positions in the circuit/pattern are in sequence from take off to landing as follows:
Upwind, crosswind, downwind, base, final
Climb, crosswind, downwind, base, final
Climb, upwind, downwind, base, final
Upwind, downwind, base, final
RUNWAY 17R will be transmitted as follows:
One Seven Romeo
Seventeen Right
One Seven Right
Seventeen Romeo
Flight level 095 will be transmitted as:
Flight level zero niner five
Flight level ninety five
Flight level zero ninety five
After receiving instruction EXTEND YOUR DOWNWIND:
You will enter the „downwind“ leg of the local traffic circuit
You will enter any other than „downwind“ leg of the local traffic circuit
You will return to the „downwind“ leg of the traffic circuit.
You will prolong your flight in the „downwind“ leg of the traffic circuit.
Pilot C- GVFE is in the following position:
Left downwind runway 15
Turning left base runway 15
Turning left downwind runway 15
The aircraft OK LEX which is over IBDIR point was instructed to change frequency to:
Rabat 118.3
Rabat 113.8
